United Methodist Women
The organization of the United Methodist Women gives the women in the church many ways to serve God, and in the process allows them to get to know and fellowship with many friendly Christians. It is comprised of a group of women who are creative and supportive of ministries that range from our local church to ministries across the world. By banding together in service, the smallest voice of an individual becomes a loud voice, effecting change around the globe.
In the year 2010, the studies for the United Methodist Women are:
Our Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Our Pledge
I pledge my prayers to bind me closer to Him in whose strength I live, my service in the extension of God’s kingdom, and my gifts to the support of the United Methodist Women.
All women are always invited to all UMW gatherings and events.
