We Come Together in Fellowship! |
Once a month, on the second Saturday, all men are invited to the Men’s Prayer and Fellowship Breakfast at 8 AM in Jubilee Hall. Enjoy a home cooked breakfast and the friendship of other Christian men. You’ll be on your way home by 9:30. There is no cost and reservations are not needed. RETIRED MEN from the church (friends are welcome!) gather at The Bistro at Carroll Lutheran Village for breakfast at 8:30 on the last Thursday of every month. (To find the Bistro, enter through the Hospitality Entrance, turn right and go down the hall.) Again, reservations are not needed. Pay for your own meal. Contact: Charles Wolfe, 410-857-1011.
WOMEN’S LUNCHES are held monthly at a different restaurant each month. The meeting time is 11:30 to avoid the noontime rush. Come whenever you can make it! Reservations are not needed. Pay for your own meal. Dates and locations for 2010 are:

Our SOFTBALL TEAM participates every summer in the Carroll County Church Softball League. Practice begins in April and games are held Thursday evenings at the Carroll County Sports Complex. SCRAPBOOKING!! Bring your projects and spread out on a table among the fellowship of others who share your interest. If you don’t have a “project,” bring your loose photos. You’ll find solutions to your photo dilemmas and may even leave with new friends! Some supplies are available for purchase. The group meets from 6 to 10 PM on the first Friday of each month. Jubilee Hall is the usual meeting place, but occasionally the group moves to a home. There is a $5 fee for each First Friday Crop which covers drinks, snacks and a free gift at your table. Our M&M’s are our “Modern & Mature” adults. They are primarily (but not excluded to) those age 50 and older and they strive for fellowship and fun! One activity per month is planned, such as bus trips, potlucks, picnics, dinner theaters. They also sponsor our Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Brunch which is very popular in the community.
