About Our Pastors

Pastor Laura Easto

Laura celebrates the worship and ministries at Westminster United Methodist Church where she has been the Lead Pastor since July 2007. A graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary with her Master of Divinity in 1985 and her Doctor of Ministry in 2009, she brings a fresh spirit to the guiding of this congregation.

We are open to new ideas, welcome all who come through our doors and look for the way we might empower the community for Christ. We are excited to be a part of the church that sits in the heart of the Westminster Community!

Laura is joined at WUMC by her husband David and their children, Sarah and Peter.

Pastor Grimes is a 2003 graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies. In May 2009, she graduated from the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC with a Master of Divinity degree. During her seminary experience, in addition to excellence in scholarship which earned her a full scholarship for the entirety of her time at Wesley, she offered leadership as the Vice President of Student Council and on the Student Board of the Washington Theological Consortium. Pastor Grimes is in the process of ordination of Elder in the United Methodist Church. Pastor Grimes became the Associate Pastor at Westminster United Methodist Church in August 2009 and is excited about ministry to the church and the community of Westminster.

In her spare time, she loves to play tennis and enjoys traveling. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an international service sorority.
